WHERE IS MONICAKES LOCATED?

We are based in New Hyde Park (Long Island, New York).

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR CAKES?

Our cakes are made to order. The cost depends on the size, flavor, and design of the cake. For an accurate idea of custom pricing, get in touch with us here.

CAKE SERVING SIZE

4 inch: 8-10 people
6 inch: 18-24 people
8 inch: 30-40 people
10 inch: 50-60 people

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

There is no exact answer to this question. Some dates are booked out for months but there are also times when I will have an availability to accommodate last minute orders with a weeks notice. I would suggest to order as soon as possible to avoid any trouble. The general time frame is 2-4 weeks in advance.

DO YOU CREATE FONDANT CAKES?

We make exclusively buttercream cakes.

DO YOU CREATE NOVELTY/CARVED CAKES?

We do not, but we can create a themed cake.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, I try to buy all my required supplies early. 50% percent of the price of your order is required at least 2 weeks in advance. The final payment will be made the morning of the event. If you plan cancelling the order, you can get a full refund of the deposit 2 weeks before the cake is due. There will be no refund of the deposit if the cancellation is made less than 2 weeks of the event.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Delivery is available when I’m not at work or in school 🙃 Prices on delivery vary based on distance and size of your order..

CAN YOU REPLICATE AN IMAGE I HAVE OF A CAKE?

I can try my best but it might not be the exact same as my style of caking might be different.

DO YOU MAKE ALLERGY FRIENDLY DESSERTS?

Unfortunately, no. I bake out of my home where the kitchen is used by other family members during the day.

DO YOU OFFER VEGAN CAKES?

Yes, but limited flavors!

DO YOU CAKE TESTING?

We do sell cake sample boxes the first Sunday of every other month. Each box consists of 5 different flavor combinations. You can pre-order your box for the next round of cake boxes here.

WHAT CAKE FLAVORS DO YOU OFFER?

-Ras malai (this consists of a cardamom infused cake, ras malai filling, and saffron buttercream)

WHAT FROSTING FLAVORS DO YOU OFFER?

All cakes are covered in buttercream. (Flavors are not limited to the following, I will do my best to accommodate any other flavor requests)
-Any flavor of buttercream (flavors are not limited to the following):

  • caramel

  • coffee

  • chocolate

  • strawberry

  • cookie butter

  • cookies and cream

  • rose

FILLINGS? (You do not have to have a filling)

-Whipped cream
-Cream cheese frosting
-Ganache (White chocolate/milk chocolate/dark chocolate)
-Flavored ganache (strawberry, lemon, etc. )
-Fillings (fruit curd, custard, jam, fruit slices, ganache, etc.)—[You don’t have to have a filling]
